On Tuesday 7th June we have co-founders Davin Poonwassie and Atuksha Poonwassie coming to the Freedom Property Co-Op.
Davin’s background is in data and databases and he has been providing support and consultancy to a number of clients, both in the UK and overseas. In 2013, Davin set up Simple Backing and started building this business alongside his database work. In May 2015 Davin finished all database support and became a full time entrepreneur, focusing on Simple Backing.
Atuksha helps property investors, developers and entrepreneurs find, acquire and retain loyal customers. As well as being a Simple Backing co-founder Atuksha, also founded Focus2020 in May 2000, which has been providing CRM and guidance and support to companies across many industries and across all regions. Atuksha has helped businesses realise substantial revenue growth by putting customers at the heart of a business and by creating better customer journeys.
The talk will be about crowdfunding and its mechanics such as; how it works, the benefits & risks and top tips. It will also include a specialist talk in customer relationship management which will cover how you can grow your property business using CRM.

Ranjan Bhattacharya is a seasoned property investor and developer who over the last 25 years has built an extensive portfolio of residential and commercial property in London. He is a former management consultant with Accenture and has an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.

Elsie has been investing since 2005 and has built up a substantial portfolio of high value central London apartments and HMOs. Elsie is now working full time in property. On Tuesday 6th October 2015, we have Julie Hogbin, visiting us to discuss HMO. The last two decades Julie has worked with Leadership and Management teams in the Public and Private sectors & more recently with Entrepreneurs building their own business & consistently with people who want to change their lives.
Property Investing, Mentoring, Coaching and Training has all helped Julie create her own financial freedom. Julie has founded business talks and workshops as well as her ‘Property Investing Explained’ and soon to launch ‘Wealth Wise Women’ and is currently writing several books.

On Tuesday 7th April Paul Higgs will talking to us on how to make BIG profits from Site Finding, Development and ‘real’ off-market Deal sourcing.
Paul is a Land, Planning & Development expert with more than 30 years’ experience in the sector. Throughout his career he has purchased, gained planning permission for and built over 6,000 residential units and 2,500,000 sq. /ft. of commercial space. Following many years in senior positions with Laing Homes and Barratt Developments, 12 years ago he formed what is now a multi-million pound property development company, Millbank Group. In 2013 Millbank won The Evening Standard New Homes Awards and continue develop throughout London and The South East.
The industry-standard fees payable for sourcing deals are 2% of the purchase price and most sites are worth well in excess of £1 million, so – a very basic site would pay YOU – £20,000 …and on a more typical purchase (certainly in London and the South East) of £5,000,000 a 2% fee would be £100,000.
